9/11/2011 3 Comments You've Been Pinked!!As you know, Spirit gives me the information for classes before or at the time of class- even for the fun
activities of The Passion Club. I’d been asking for information on the game Spirit began to tell me about for The Passion Club Renewal group when a very synchronistic event occurred! Spirit told me that we were going to play a game called “You’ve Been Pinked!” (A little play on the punked idea). We would need a pink flamingo for this activity. As my daughter and I were going out to do errands on Saturday (to find her first pair of maternity jeans!) and I needed the flamingo for Monday I explained as much as I knew of the game to my daughter. “Where do you think I can get a pink flamingo?” I asked her. She thought we might find one at a party store and also added her idea of attaching some kind of bag or purse for the gifts or notes that would be required. What a great idea I thought. We continued on our errands and ended up at Sax Fifth Ave. Outlet store- just to look, of course, and ended up in baby clothing- just to look, of course. After feeling all the adorable little items and deciding her new baby would only wear the softest of everything, we decided it was time to go. As we rounded the aisle we both noticed it at the same time, and said, “A pink flamingo! You’ve got to be kidding!” There, right in front of us, the only one of its kind- and on the sale rack- was, sure as can be, a pink flamingo- THE pink flamingo! And with the perfect zipper pouch! We both laughed and my daughter observed, “Mom! You’re the first to be Pinked!” Follow our “You’ve Been Pinked” stories as we travel through The Passion Club Renewal Journey over the next three weeks! To tell us about how you were pinked and what your gift means to you, simply comment on this post. We can't wait to hear your stories, and see Pink's travels! (If you take a picture of Pink, please email to ngratta@angelsbythesea3333.com so I can add to the website - Thanks!) |
