Cooperative Members
Angels by the Sea Cooperative Association provides the cornerstone of our spiritual center. Serving the Plymouth-area, our members come from diverse backgrounds and have many unique talents. All cooperative members are united in their efforts to support our community — and one another — in the vibration of respect and love. This is accomplished in a variety of methods, including classes, events, holistic services, music and much, much more. Read more about the ways our members act as lightworkers in their following biographies.

Nancy Gratta
Founder of Angels by the Sea and the Angels by the Sea Cooperative
Welcome and
Blessings! I am happy to introduce myself to you and welcome you to Angels by
the Sea, part of a project and a love that began many years ago as a vision.
First, I will tell you that I am a teacher. I have my Masters of Education in
Health and more than 20 years of experience in the school system. Also, many
of you know me as a teacher of dance. Although I have enjoyed this part of my
life, nothing excites me as much as my spiritual journey that, of course, is
helping me to make sense of life on earth and my place in this world. It is
with great pleasure that I assist others with their adventure to find the
knowledge and confidence in what is right for them. As a "teacher" and a channel for Spirit, I am but another instrument for a person to utilize
in their personal spiritual quest, should they be lead to do so.
It is with extreme gratitude that I provide my services to others, as a "student and teacher are one and the same".
Peace and love!

Joanne Cavatorta, M.A., Certified Music Practitioner (Therapeutic Harp)
For more than ten years, Joanne has played Celtic Harp in area hospitals and nursing homes, including Mass. General Hospital and Children's Hospital in Boston where she is employed by The Chaplaincy to soothe and heal. Therapeutic music is an art based on the science of sound. It can transcend the limitations of language, the brain, and the belief systems, reaching individuals on a deep energetic level to help restore wholeness and healing. It can engage and entrain the life rhythms of both animals and people, inviting balance into biological systems. This ancient wisdom is being rediscovered at the frontiers of music and medicine. Joanne believes deeply in the unique healing potential of live harp music, and feels honored to offer it here.
